This is a piece my writing partner (Dr Lowkey) and I came up with and will be on our cd, hopefully complete by the end of this year. it is very atherial, we are going for soundtrack stuff. Anyway, the time signatures are a combo of 4/4, 7, 9 and 11. The instruments contantly overlap each other. The percussion part does not come in until nearly half through the piece. Anyway, I sure would like to know that you think.
Note: I think I goofed on the recording...start it at about 40 seconds

Pretty cool. Like it! Could be soundtrack to like a sci fi movie or new superhero movie. My cousin in Bakersfield wants to do stuff like this. He is working on his Music degree, site reads, and composes. I like to mess with keyboards too...wish I had one!
I love messing with weird timings too. One of our newer songs, I do an solo break in 7/4 time. I had writen a song in 5/4...funny we called it "Injun Joe". My brother Angel wrote lryics about how the American Indian got the bad end of the stick. One of my fav timings in 6/4.

Thanks H...a piece like this can be decieving as it can sound as if it is redundant, but the fact is nothis is staying in place at all. Dr Lowkey will be out tonight at Rockabilly's, 09/23. He is a very "underground" guy for a 52 year old.
